With a desire to share God’s love through a variety of musical styles\, singers are a part of an ensemble that is known for performance excellence and inspirational musical contributions to worship. Sanctuary Choir is offered at both the Minneapolis and West Campuses and sings for the 11am service on most Sundays\, September through May. DESCRIPTION:The Mental Health Task Force invites you to join us as we partner with the Mount Olivet Counseling Center to discuss the topic “Supporting Loved Ones and Yourself While Navigating Mental Health Challenges.”  \nDo you ever feel at a loss in terms of knowing how to best support loved ones who may be struggling? This event will provide tools and information to build confidence in helping others\, while also covering how to best take care of yourself during these times. Included in this event will be the option to attend two breakout sessions provided by therapists from Mount Olivet Counseling Center on the following topics: \n\nSupporting your child through mental health challenges.\nSupporting your parent or older adult though mental health challenges.\nSupporting a friend or family member through addiction.\n\nThe Mount Olivet Counseling Center provides ongoing individual counseling to both Mount Olivet members and community members on a wide array of topics\, many that will be covered during this event. \nDoors will open at 9:15am and a light breakfast will be served until the program begins at 9:30am. DESCRIPTION:From Table to Tomb: The Three Days Before Easter   \nJoin us for a day of reflection and worship as we journey through the sacred days of Maundy Thursday\, Good Friday\, and Holy Saturday. Through scripture\, song\, worship\, and prayer\, we will enter the story of Jesus’ final hours—gathering at the table\, standing at the cross\, and waiting in the silence of the tomb. Guided by Pastor Cieslik\, Pastor Olson Popp\, and Rev. Dr. Theresa Latini\, this retreat will include presentations as well as prayers of confession and reproach\, (optional) footwashing\, moments of silence\, and hymns that deepen our connection to Christ’s passion. Our time together will culminate in the sharing of communion\, grounding us in the hope of what is to come. \nDay Lenten Journey is one of our annual day-time retreats. It provides space to gather with familiar and new friends and enter the season of Lent together through worship\, learning\, and conversation in a place of inspiring beauty.
